International customers renting in the U.S. are also required to present a valid international-issued driver’s license at the time of rent and a valid passport in the same name, as a second form of identification.

Estimated Mileage :

An excess mileage charge may apply in accordance with product restrictions or negotiated contract terms

Late Return Fee:

Vehicles returned 30 minutes late or more are charged for an additional part or full day, depending on the time of return

Taxes :

tax on total rental charges is automatically applied.

Cancellation and Missed Reservation Policy:

If Cancelling up to 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup time, You will receive a refund of your prepaid amount, minus a $50.00 cancellation fee.

If Cancelling within 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time, You will receive a refund of your prepaid amount, minus a $150.00 cancellation fee. If your prepaid amount is less than $150.00 no refund will be issued.

if No show, or failure to pick-up your rental vehicle, No refund will be issued.

if Rental is picked up, but returned early, No refund will be issued.

At the time of rental, we require a hold amount of up to $300 USD or the equivalent in your native currency for credit and debit cards.

Prepaid Debit/Gift cards are not acceptable methods of credit identification to pick up a vehicle at any location. Avis only accepts Prepaid Debit/Gift cards at time of return.

Upon returning the vehicle, Triple 5 will process a release of the unused portion of the hold subject to your bank’s procedure. This hold may take up to two weeks to be released by your bank.

If you have already paid towards your rental using a debit card, we will reverse any hold when the rental is over. The bank, however, may take time to post it back to your account. While this hold is in place, the funds will not be available for your use.

Cancellation and No-Show charges may reduce refunds for prepaid reservations. Once the vehicle is rented there are no refunds or credits for unused rental days.

Personal Property and Personal Effects Protection Insurance:

We are not responsible for damage to, or theft or loss of any personal property in or on the Vehicle, in any service vehicle, on our premises, or received or handled by us, regardless of who is at fault for the loss or damage.

Use of Location Information:

You should have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality as to the places where the Vehicle is driven while rented to you. You agree that we may, where permitted by law, use GPS precise location tracking devices installed in the Vehicle or location data generated by Connected Car technology for the purposes described in our Privacy notice, including without limitation to track or locate Vehicles which may be late for their scheduled return, reported stolen, suspected of being lost, stolen, or abandoned or as may be required or requested by law enforcement, to analyze and enhance our services, improve efficiency in managing our inventory, maintaining our fleet and otherwise improving our services, and to identify Vehicles which have been damaged and may require roadside assistance, when we have a good faith belief that there is an emergency that poses a threat to your safety or the safety of another person, or as necessary to defend, protect or enforce our rights in connection with the use of our products and/or services. If you are a representative of a corporate or commercial entity account, you agree to ensure that drivers of fleet Vehicles are provided notice and/or consent to such GPS tracking for these purposes where required by law.

What to Bring for Car Rental Pickup:

To pick up a rental car, you need a valid form of identification (usually a driver’s license) and a form of payment

Additional Driver:

With a valid license, your spouse, partner, employer, or employee can drive your rental car for no additional fee.

Length of Rental:

Reservations for less than one day are accepted, however a minimum charge of one day applies to rentals of less than 24 hours.

Changes to Reservations:
